OLEVI Power of Coaching (PoC)

Could coaching be your solution to building capacity, developing sustainability and driving standards within your school?


Who is this programme for?

This programme is suitable for teachers who:

  • demonstrate a clear understanding of outstanding teaching and learning practices

  • have experience in facilitating both groups and individuals

  • are able to demonstrate a track record of success through their teaching

  • have received endorsement from their head teacher on their ability to develop themselves and others

This programme is not suitable for previous delegates of our OLEVI Outstanding Teacher Programme (OTP).


What impact will it have?

The delegate will be:

  • able to facilitate coaching within the classroom and to colleagues
  • more reflective in their understanding and application of deepening thinking
  • Confident, Assertive, Resilient, Driven and Successful in the facilitation of coaching (CARDS©)

What does it involve?

  • OLEVI POC provides opportunities for delegates to engage in a range of activities and access theories behind effective coaching practices
  • exemplifies how to implement coaching in a range of professional contexts from the classroom to the training room
  • enables delegates to select their own coaching model to articulate to others
  • links coaching to outstanding practice and how to achieve outstanding learning
