RAISEonline workshop

RAISEOnline Workshop

Harrison Primary School

Monday 17th October, 1pm - 4pm

Commencing in September, Ofsted inspectors will be trained on changes to accountability measures in each key stage and the tables and charts designed to show them in RAISEonline and the inspection dashboard. Inspectors will receive online training in October using tables and charts with data just before the release of unvalidated primary 2016 RAISEonline summary reports and inspection dashboards.  It is important that school leaders and staff have an in-depth knowledge of their school’s data and do not rely entirely on the simplified, automated statements provided on the front page of the inspection dashboard.

This 3 hour training session will outline:

  • Changes to RAISEonline in 2016
  • Key stage 1 reports
  • Key stage 2 reports
  • Attainment and scaled scores (ks1 and ks2)
  • Calculation of progress to key stage 2
  • Interpretation of results/data
  • Definition of floor standards and implications
  • New “coasting” measure and implications
  • Examples of how some of the new format reports will be presented in 2016, with explanation
  • Interactive Question Level Analysis (QLA) for 2016 – already published
  • Interactive RAISEonline – viewing, interrogating, filtering, grouping, identifying individual performance and amending data
