Feedback from Senior Leadership Teams who attended in 2018:

“The tools enabled the staff to make contributions and dig deeper into the reasons for specific barriers to teaching and learning in maths. A consensus across the staff was reached regarding the next priorities for the SIP and this has led to improved understanding of improvements in pedagogy across the school. “

“This approach has given greater credence to the SIP process and improved involvement and engagement levels. This has been particularly noticeable with teaching assistants with the aims of raising awareness of responsibility and driving school improvement. These discussions have been aligned to identification of CPD and development of others. Tools have been adopted by SLT to involve all staff, in order to gain greater clarity, ownership, consensus and increase responsibility, and communication.”
