Autism from a personal perspective - Dean Beadle

Educating the whole child - AUTISM from a personal perspective
& developing an understanding of effective teaching strategies for all children

Speaker: Dean Beadle

Thursday 7th February, 2019

Twilight talk at Ferneham Hall, Fareham

4:15pm – 6pm

Dean Beadle shares his experiences of life on the autism spectrum.  Headteachers & SENCos who attended our Pioneer Leadership Conference earlier this year strongly recommended all school staff should hear this inspiring talk.  Dean provides a wealth of practical strategies and ideas for working with all children.  Through his humorous and insightful speech, Dean outlines his positive outlook on his diagnosis.   Follow Dean on Twitter at @deanbeadleuk

This event is a repeat of the talk delivered  in June 2018 at Ferneham Hall  and is ideal for  all teachers, trainee teachers, SENCos, TAs and support staff.

Reactions from Dean's 2018 talks:

“Clear real life experiences used to communicate how we can best understand and support some of our young people”

“This talk needs to be shared with all teachers & TAs in schools”

“Really great insights, easy to listen to, humourous with brilliant practical tips”
